Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. As outlined in the Protestant conviction “Sola Scriptura”; the Bible is the source of both faith and practical application to the lives of Christians; even in today’s world.
There are 28 fundamental beliefs for the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. These beliefs can be organized into six categories or doctrines pertaining to:
- God
- Man
- Salvation
- The Church
- Christian Life
- Last Day Events
Within each category we find God as the architect; who in wisdom, grace and infinite love is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
Each of the beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church is meant to influence and impact every aspect of our daily life. As we study the Bible on a daily basis we find that compelling portrait of God, who desires to lead us into a close relationship with Him. Our Lord and Savior invites us to experience that blessing that comes from accepting His Grace and to seek His guidance in our daily lives.
